About the Fergusons

Hello! We are the Fergusons. You can click here to read the long version of our story, but we thought you might like a quick introduction to our family.

God has given our little family a love for nature, travel, and the adventures of life. We met at Parkside Bible Church while Eddie was serving as a pastor there. Rather quickly we realized we shared a mutal love for Jesus and His Word, people, and strong coffee. Together in our marriage we have loved on missionaries, led short-term trips, and returned to the places Eddie served as a single missionary.

The kids share in our sense of adventure and love of nature, and have made their first camping trips at a very young age. They also share in our love of people. We frequently open our home to others, share meals, and enjoy a long conversation. All we need is a good cup of coffee and we could talk forever. God has given us a genuine love for people.

Our family loves creativity! It’s not uncommon to see art and sewing projects about the house with music playing in the background. We enjoy a good family movie night, with popcorn of course. However, there is no substitute for a good story out of a favorite book.

God has brought these things together in our little family to love Him and serve others in unique and exciting ways to proclaim the name of Jesus. We don’t just share our life with you, but we share what God is doing in and through us. A life serving the Lord is certainly an adventure and we hope that you will come along.
